Grape Sangria Recipe
Wine is made from grapes. Grapes are tasty to eat! Grapes are enjoyed all over the world. The Greeks and Romans adored grapes, and in North America the muscadine grape grew wild everywhere.
This grape sangria recipe is quite simple and lets you enjoy the classic combination of grapes and wine.
Ingredients
8 grapes
1 glass white wine
This is about as easy as it gets for Sangria. Chop the grapes in half so that they're easier to drink in while you drink your wine. Add in cold white wine - Chardonnay works well - to fill the glass. If you want to add in a liqueur or hard alcohol (vodka, rum etc) then feel free to do so.
Enjoy!
Note that unlike other fruits and berries, grapes will promptly sink to the bottom of the glass and start soaking up all the wine. This means to "eat" them you have to wait until you finish your wine and then shake them out of the bottom of the glass. Alternatively, you can have a toothpick spear available and grab them out with that as your wine level gets lower.
To turn this into a party sangria recipe, there are usually four large glasses of wine in a 750ml bottle of wine. Simply multiply all ingredients by four and use a full bottle of wine in a large pitcher or bowl.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
