 Thistle Sangria Recipe
The thistle is a gorgeous flower - did you know an artichoke is a member of the thistle family? Amazing but true! A purple flower grows out of the top of the artichoke plant. Celebrate beauty with this artichoke liqueur recipe.
Ingredients
1oz artichoke liqueur
green apple
1 glass red wine
Add the artichoke liqueur into the glass. Now mix in slices of green apple. If you use smaller slices, you can drink them down as you drink the sangria. Fill with red wine, and enjoy an ode to beauty!
To turn this into a party sangria recipe, there are usually four large glasses of wine in a 750ml bottle of wine. Simply multiply all ingredients by four and use a full bottle of wine in a large pitcher or bowl.
